Amazon’s second Prime Day of the year, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, is landing on October 6 and 7, but the discounts have already started rolling in. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to finally pull the trigger on that gadget or home upgrade you’ve been eyeing, this is it. Early deals are live across dozens of categories, and some of them are genuinely the best prices we’ve ever seen on well-tested products.
The Tech Deals That Actually Stand Out
Leading the charge in the tech category is the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, now dropping to $190, a solid $41 off the regular price. These are widely considered the best earbuds for Android users, offering great sound, active noise cancellation, comfortable fit, and long battery life. They also play nicely with iOS, so even iPhone owners have a reason to look.
If you’re a gamer, the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed wireless gaming mouse is down to $79 from $100, and that’s an all-time low price. It’s fast, reliable, and lightweight, three qualities that matter the most when you’re in the middle of a competitive match. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3P Wireless headset is also discounted and works seamlessly across consoles, phones, and PCs.
For those who want a smarter home audio setup, the JBL Go 5 is down to $40, making it one of the most affordable ways to get reliable portable sound. The JBL Flip 7 is also on sale at $120, offering a bigger sound profile for only $30 more.
Home Upgrades Worth Every Penny
The De’Longhi Rivelia automatic espresso machine has hit an all-time low at $1,000, down from $1,300. For coffee enthusiasts who want barista-quality lattes and cappuccinos at home without the learning curve, this machine delivers with a built-in grinder, milk frother, and touchscreen display. It’s a premium buy, but at this price, the value case is genuinely strong.
On the cleaning front, the Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro robot vacuum is down to $550, which is the best price since it launched. The Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum is also discounted, with its bendable body making it particularly useful for getting under furniture. And if air quality matters to you heading into fall allergy season, the Levoit Vital 200S-P air purifier is on sale at $160, offering app connectivity and voice control at a very reasonable price point.
Why Buying Early Makes Smart Sense
Here’s the honest truth about Prime Day shopping: the best deals often go fast, and popular items sell out before the official event even hits its peak. Early access windows like this one are increasingly where savvy shoppers win. Whether you’re upgrading your everyday tech, outfitting your home, or finally treating yourself to that coffee machine, acting now means you shop with more options and less stress. Consumer adoption of smart home devices and wireless audio has surged in recent years, and these price drops make this the ideal entry point for anyone still on the fence.
